The never-ending story.
If you ever wanted to know what a website chasing its tail looked like, look no further.
So it all starts with the Pedro to United links intensifying and apparently the deal is all but done.
Then… then we’re told that United have made no bid and the Barcelona president says Pedro is going nowhere.
Just when we think that is bad enough, throw yet another Sergio Ramos rumour into the mix.
But, this time, those rumours are back with a vengeance with a number of journalists jumping on interesting reports coming out of Spain this evening.
Cadena SER claims Sergio Ramos has refused Real Madrid’s renewal offer. The ride never ends.

Spanish outlet, AS, are running with the Cadena SER story, claiming that a new contract for the Spaniard at the Bernabeu is “not even close”.
Cadena SER are a credible radio station in Spain and the news has got a lot of people talking.
“Ramos is uneasy because of the statement of intent from the Asian tour,” the report reads. “Madrid has not had contact with his agent. And one thing is clear, Sergio Ramos will not accept the 8.5 million offered by Real Madrid – [he] wants 10 million euros per season to extend the contract which ends in June 2016.”
Cadena is reporting that there has been no urgency to get the Ramos situation sorted and that a date hasn’t been set as to when a decision will be made by either party. And we know a Dutch manager who wouldn’t be afraid to give him 10 million euros a year.
It throws the transfer merry-go-round back into pause mode though with Manchester City reportedly making moves for Atletico centre half Diego Godin and United settling for Nicolas Otamendi – apparently.
Both would presumably keen to bring Ramos to Manchester if his unrest continues. And it looks like it is continuing.
Tonight at least. Expect the situation to change nine times before Sunday.
Hat-tip to Colm Moynihan for giving us a heads-up on this one.
