Brendan Rodgers and Louis van Gaal will be feeling the pressure after this.
Both Liverpool and United, and the rest of the English top five, are listed by Forbes Magazine as the most valuable team in the world.
All five, in fact, are named in the top eight.
The Old Trafford outfit though are said to have a team more than three times the value of what Brendan Rodgers has at his disposal and it is Louis van Gaal’s men who are way ahead of the rest of their English counterparts.
Forbes estimates value using exchange rates and revenue and, unsurprisingly, Real Madrid come out on top with their Catalan rivals just behind them.
