Manchester United fans’ favourite linked with shock move to Premier League strugglers

Well the boy is in serious form

Manchester United and Chelsea are not that different you know.

Well we mean in the goalscoring stakes at least.

So far this season Chelsea have only scored 16 goals in the Premier League, which leaves them in 16th position in the table, handily enough.

On the other hand while Louis van Gaal’s team have scored 17 and are fourth in the table.

Them’s the breaks but it seems that Chelsea are looking to bolster their attacking options by lining up a bizarre move for a former fans’ favourite at Old Trafford in January.

Javier Hernadez spent all of last season on loan at Real Madrid and made a full -time move to Bayer Leverkusen this summer where the Mexican has been in incredible form

That type of form has attracted lots of interest from across Europe and according to the Daily Mirror, quoting the Sunday People,  the club are very interested in ‘the Little Pea’ returning to England.

It’s seems unlikely that Bayer would let a player they have just signed leave six months later, especially considering his red-hot form, but money does talk and if Chelsea can offer a play in exchange the deal could be one of the biggest shocks of the new year transfer window.
