It’s become the norm for club websites to get their players to have a bit of fun and reveal their dream five-a-side from their teammates.
Today’s team comes from Manchester United’s Rafael Da Silva, who revealed the four teammates he’s bring along for a game against the hypothetical atsroturf world’s elite.
As so may players seem to do, he leaves out a goalkeeper, and opts for Chris Smalling, Antonio Valencia, Ander Herrera and Wayne Rooney to join him on the pitch, forgetting about some of United’s more flamboyant attackers like Juan Mata, Angel Di Maria, or Robin Van Persie.
The selections didn’t go down too well with United fans, who were pretty confrontational (abusive) towards the out of favour right back on Twitter.
At least he didn’t pick Anderson…
