It'll come as a surprise to no one.
But that still won't stop Manchester United fans fretting after it was confirmed today that Pep Guardiola will be the new Manchester City manager.
For United fans it's a double hammer blow. The equivalent of getting a player sent-off, and an opponent scoring from the subsequent penalty.
Not only will their club miss out on the most in-demand, revolutionary and successful coach working in football today, but their bitter rivals look set to benefit from the near-guaranteed success he's likely to bring.
Needless to say, United fans reacted to the news with anger and a sense of disillusionment. Many called for one manager in particular to replace Louis van Gaal.
