Hopefully, for this fan, Gerrard is watching the game tonight.
Surely the first rule of trolling an opposition player is ensuring he is actually involved in the game. Otherwise, it’s just out of context, as well as unpleasant.
Well such considerations have not stopped one Manchester United fan. He’s prepared for tonight’s FA Cup quarter-final against Arsenal at Old Trafford, by making a banner mocking Steven Gerrard.
Hopefully, for the fan’s sake, Gerrard is at least watching the game. Otherwise, with the Liverpool captain departing for LA Galaxy in a few months, he may never get to troll Gerrard in person.
It does look like a bed quilt though, so it may be able to keep him warm when he crawls back under his bridge?
