Manchester United have been identified as the Premier League club with the most lucrative shirt sponsorship deal in the top flight of English football.
Sporting Intelligence revealed that United will receive £47 million this season from American manufacturer Chevorlet, £2 million more than what rivals Manchester City will receive from their sponsorship deal with Etihad Airways.
Huddersfield Town have been identified as the club with the least lucrative deal with Ope Sports, a Chinese gaming company, paying the West Yorkshire club just £1.5 million per season.
Interestingly, the Premier League’s top six clubs – Manchester City, Manchester United, Tottenham, Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal – account for £247 million, or 78.9% of the Premier League’s combined value of £313.6 million in shirt sponsorship deals.

In addition to shirt sponsors, the Premier League allowed their clubs last season to advertise on their shirt sleeves.
Brands will be allowed to advertise on the left sleeve of their shirts only, replacing the Premier League badge, which has remained on the other sleeve.
