Dalot arrives from Porto, where he won the Primera Liga last season, making 8 appearances. The 19-year-old is a promising defender, who can play either as a right-back or a left-back.
Dalot will fill the shoes of Matteo Darmian, who is expected to leave the club this summer and return to his native Italy, and could act as competition for Antonio Valencia and Ashley Young.
He has not yet played for Portugal’s senior side, though he has impressed in their age group teams, winning the U17 European Championship in 2016.
