Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal is not happy with One Direction

Don't annoy Louis

SportsJOE

When Louis says ‘sit down’, you don’t look for a chair.

It seems the five four boys of One Direction could be the latest to feel the wrath of United boss, Louis van Gaal.

The Old Trafford men were in action in Seattle last night against Club America (watch Bastian Schweinsteiger’s debut here), but the pitch wasn’t to van Gaal’s liking.

Why? A bloody One Direction concert.

48 hours earlier, Niall Horan and his gang were rocking (is that what they do?) out with thousands of fans stampeding atop of the CenturyLink Field.

And the United manager raised concerns about Seattle Seahawks’ playing surface after its recent schedule.

“The surface was not good, it was difficult,” he said. “The first surface is artificial with natural grass over it, but it is always moving, so you are seeing a lot of players moving it (the turf).

“You can get more injuries and it is a big concern. It was also last season against Real Madrid (in Michigan) that we played in such circumstances.

“At Old Trafford, it is just for football. But in America, it is about entertainment, NFL and One Direction.

“It would have been better and healthier to play on the (artificial) surface below the pitch.”
