Manchester United are said to be close to agreeing deal for Dortmund midfielder Ilkay Gundogan

No hanging about

What Louis wants, Louis gets.

Manchester United aren’t hanging about this summer with no World Cup to distract their Dutch manager. And Mr van Gaal looks to be closing in on his first piece of business already.

Sky Sports News are reporting that a deal for Ilkay Gundogan is imminent as the Old Trafford men look to further strengthen their midfield.

The 24-year-old German international is said to be on the brink of a move to United after four seasons at Borussia Dortmund.

Apparently, van Gaal hasn’t had enough problems trying to shoehorn all of his attackers into his front six so he’s adding another talented midfielder to ramp the pressure up on the increasingly impressive trio of Ander Herrera, Michael Carrick, and Marouane Fellaini.

And, United fans have wasted no time in getting straight to work by editing Gundogan’s Wikipedia page. Apparently he has already signed.
