Not quite fella.
One of the best/worst things about the internet is when you make a mistake, and there is no shortage of smartarses out there to tell you exactly where you went wrong. Usually this is a typo or grammatical error that your mates enjoy correcting you on.
But that’s just us mere mortals. We can only imagine what it would be like to be a famous footballer with over 70,000 Twitter followers – each and every one ready and waiting to correct you if and when you slip with the odd gaff.
Unluckily for Manchester City midfielder Fernando, he dropped a right clanger.
To mark #tbt (or ‘Throwback Thursday’ when people like to reminisce) he posted an image of himself and his fellow City players celebrating winning a cup last season. Unfortunately for him, he seemed to think it was the FA Cup they had won.

It was of course the less prestigious Capital One Cup that was added to the Etihad trophy cabinet – with the FA Cup being won by arch-rivals Manchester United. As you can imagine, he got one or two replies to point that out…
sorry pal you didn't win the FA Cup last season !
