Manuel Pellegrini won’t be happy
Manchester City have started their season in ominous fashion with two very impressive 3-0 wins over West Brom and Chelsea respectively.
The club look to have found another gear after last year’s disappointment, and have been linked with one of the top talent’s in Europe all summer as the final part of their summer spending.
The last two weeks we’ve seen daily speculation that linked the club to Belgian Kevin de Bruyne who’s currently at Wolfsburg.
The deal seemed pretty much sealed for around €40million but it has hit a major snag tonight as the former-Chelsea man has revealed he that he definitely won’t be leaving the German side this summer.

That’s what you’d describe as a snag alright.
So it looks like City will only be purchasing Nicolas Otamendi this week.
And look how pleased he is with his decision.

Although the deal may not be totally off if this Tweet is to be believed
I understand Kevin De Bruyne's move to #MCFC is still very much on despite him saying he will stay with Wolfsburg on stage tonight

De Bruyne's agent has told me he is "furious" that De Bruyne was put in such an awkward situation. Says his player could still join #MCFC

Kevin De Bruyne's agent is angry about the SportBild interview. The situation hasn't changed. Transfer to #MCFC is still on!

Patrick De Koster: "We are devastated. A practical joke in a live show, in a language the player doesn't completely understand? Unbelievable
