For all the chopping and changing Chelsea do with their managers, they’re rather better at showing loyalty to their best players.
Didier Drogba earned himself two spells at Stamford Bridge, Frank Lampard got more than a decade at the club, and we wouldn’t be surprised if John Terry never left, despite suggestions to the contrary.
With that in mind, it’s reasonable to assume Sergio Aguero might still be in West London if his proposed move had materialised back in January 2010.

That missed opportunity was felt a little more keenly as Aguero’s hat-trick proved the difference in Manchester City’s 3-0 win at Stamford Bridge, completing a Premier League double for the Citizens.
Still, at least the Blues put that transfer budget to good use. Well, perhaps not.

Still, at least they’ve got Pedro Radamel Falcao Alexandre Pato their health.
