The stars are aligning for Manuel Pellegrini.

The Manchester City manager is hoping to pull off the most unlikely of Champions League wins in his final few weeks at the club, and things are slotting into place.

The Chilean has named his side for tonight’s last four clash with Real Madrid, and he has gone with a very strong team for the European showdown with the mighty Real Madrid.

However, the biggest boost to City’s hopes of a major upset against the ten-time European champions comes in the make-up of Zinedine Zidane’s team.

There is no place for Ronaldo as he has failed a medical on his thigh and will not feature tonight at the Etihad.
