Some Man Utd fans have been left furious at Lisandro Martinez after a ‘disrespectful’ social media post has gone viral.
A usual fan favourite, supporters have now took to X to express their frustration at the post.
Following a damning 3-0 defeat at home to rivals Liverpool, the first international break of the season has instantly arrived after.
And upon linking up with the World Cup winning Argentina squad, Martinez posed for a photo with Liverpool teammate Alexis Mac Allister, which was subsequently shared on his social media.
Amassing over 2.9million views, Utd fans have been very vocal in their response to the player’s post.
A large Red Devils fan page responded: “Now’s not the time.”
Another fan stated: “The sad reality is players in this generation don’t care about rivalries the way players did a decade ago. I hate the way football is now.”
However, other supporters have responded by sticking with the defender:
