Does this mean Ronaldo is staying at Old Trafford?

Photos have emerged on social media of Cristiano Ronaldo wearing the leaked Manchester United kits for next season, with people speculating about the forward’s future at Old Trafford.

The images, shared by The United Stand, show the 37-year-old posing in three shirts – one red, one white and one yellow. It is thought that the leaked kits are what the Red Devils will wear next campaign.

A number of other pictures were also shared on social media, with several first-team players posting in the leaked 2022/23 kits.

Anthony Elanga, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Jadon Sancho and Bruno Fernandes can all be seen wearing the white jersey, while Alex Telles is pictured in the yellow kit.

United youngster Hannibal Mejbri is also shown wearing the leaked home shirt in front of the Old Trafford pitch.

Will Ronaldo remain at Man United?

Ronaldo sparked rumours about his future after claiming that incoming manager Erik ten Hag must be given time to succeed at Old Trafford.

The Portuguese captain’s future has been the subject of intense speculation ahead of the Dutchman’s arrival, with the 37-year-old having just one year left on his current contract.

With United failing to qualify for next season’s Champions League, doubts remain over whether the former Real Madrid man will remain at the club beyond the summer.

Despite the speculation, the striker has suggested that the Red Devils will be able to challenge for trophies under the 52-year-old’s guidance.

“I know that he has done a fantastic job at Ajax, and that he is an experienced coach, but we have to give him time,” Ronaldo told United’s official website.

“Things must change the way he wants. If he does well, all of Manchester United will be successful, so I wish him well. We are all happy and excited [about his arrival], not only as players, but as fans as well.

“We have to believe that next year we can win titles.”

While United have endured an underwhelming campaign, which has seen the club fail to win a trophy for the fifth straight season, Ronaldo has performed well individually, scoring 24 in all competitions since returning to the club.
