Ronaldo was filmed alongside Eric Cantona and David Beckham.
Manchester United have released their home kit for the 2022/23 season, with the Red Devils using Cristiano Ronaldo as one of their poster boys, despite the uncertainty surrounding his future.
The 37-year-old was pictured wearing United’s new red and white collared shirt, which is set to cost supporters a staggering £100.
United’s latest home shirt features the club’s traditional red and white colours but also draws reference to a jersey the Red Devils wore in the 1990s. The shirt boasts a retro feel thanks to the new white collar, angled badge and vertical stitching. Essentially, they’re trying to conjure the essence of Eric Cantona again.
Despite the controversy surrounding his future at Old Trafford, Ronaldo can be seen wearing the new strip on a number of photos posted on social media.

United withheld Ronaldo video due to uncertainty
Ronaldo is said to have been filmed alongside Eric Cantona and David Beckham in a special clip that looked to use the club’s three iconic No 7s to reveal the 2022/2023 strip, as reported by The Athletic.
The report claims that the Red Devils have withheld the video given that Ronaldo told United he wanted to leave the club this summer to join a side that is eligible to play in the Champions League.
Ronaldo misses pre-season tour
He was scheduled to report back for pre-season training on Monday, however, he has been granted time off by United for a family-related issue.
Ronaldo, who has missed four days of training so far, turned down the opportunity to join United on their pre-season tour to Bangkok and will not travel with the squad.
