Manchester United are plotting to nab Pep Guardiola from City’s grasp

Pep open to Old Trafford switch

By now, we’re all well aware that Louis van Gaal is far from impressed at reports speculating that his time at Manchester United is coming to a close.

Despite this, there’s no let up.

With stories linking Jose Mourinho with Van Gaal’s job appearing to calm down slightly, it’s now claimed that United could be on the brink of nabbing Pep Guardiola from under the noses of Manchester City.

The Sun reckon that the Bayern boss has already provisionally agreed to join City, but has still told United (and Chelsea) that he is available.

United reportedly see Pep as a better fit than Mourinho, although given the rate at which things have been changing this week, don’t be alarmed if this has changed in a matter of hours.
