Luke Shaw names a dodgy-looking five-a-side team and reveals Manchester United’s fastest player

When you have two rocks like Luke Shaw and Marcos Rojo at the back, you don’t need a ‘keeper.

The Manchester United left back’s dream five-a-side team certainly won’t be bothering Andrea Pirlo’s elite selection as he went for a decent attack, and not a whole lot else.

Shaw opted for no goalies, safe in the knowledge that, between him and his Argentine partner at the back, there wouldn’t be many shots getting away.

Two left footers at the back doesn’t faze him though; after all, if they’re stuck, they can just lump it in Marouane Fellaini’s direction.

Let’s just hope there’s no ‘below head height’ rule in this five-a-side competition.

Wayne Rooney and Robin van Persie up top gives his side a threat in attack and sure they can come out and play ball too so they do have a bit of balance. Balance that gets increasingly lopsided the further back you go.

SHAW

As far as James Wilson’s claims that Chris Smalling was the fastest player in the squad, Shaw wasn’t having any of it.

In fact, the England international named three players and Smalling was nowhere to be found.

“Antonio Valencia, maybe,” he told ManUtd.com. “I think it’s me, Antonio or Angel Di Maria.”
