Ryan Giggs looks set to become manager of Sunderland following a recent drop in bookmaker’s odds.
The Welshman has been out of coaching since he left Manchester United last July, following the arrival of Jose Mourinho.
And it looks like he’ll be installed as manager with the Wearside club after a staggering drop in his price as the next Black Cats manager.
At the start of the day, Giggs was priced at 33/1 at most bookmakers and has dropped to as low as 2/5.
History could be about to repeat itself if Giggs is to take over at Sunderland, replacing David Moyes.
Giggs stood in as interim manager at Manchester United manager for four games upon the departure of Moyes back in 2014, winning twice, drawing once and losing once.
He also served as assistant manager at Old Trafford under Louis van Gaal during the Dutchman’s tenure at the club.
