The good thing about third choice kits is that you don’t have to see your team play in them that often.
That’s probably why kit manufacturers don’t seem too fussed about what they look like, with the trend in recent years to produce luminous kits.
Liverpool may be following that trend next season.
According to website Footy Headlines, Liverpool’s new third choice strip will be a shade of green that is known as “toxic”

Liverpool have frequently had a yellow third choice kit. Reports that this “toxic” kit colour is inspired by Slimer from the Movie Ghostbusters are unconfirmed.
