A huge call from Jurgen Klopp.
The German has opted to start with a central defensive pairing of Mamadou Sakho and Lucas for today’s Capital One Cup final against Manchester City, with Kolo Toure left on the bench.
Otherwise pretty much as you would expect from Liverpool, with Klopp’s preferred front three of Roberto Firmino, Philippe Coutinho and Daniel Sturridge leading the charge for the season’s first silverware.

Manchester City, meanwhile, are going with a fairly full-strength line-up, save for the welcome presence, if you’re a Pool fan, of Wily Caballero in goal.
