The father, the son and the holy Skrtel
It seems some divine inspiration has played a large part in Liverpool’s resurgence this season. After a poor start, the Reds’ home form in particular has improved exponentially and it can all be attributed to a certain Messiah attending their matches.
Since a fan started showing up to games dressed as Jesus Christ, Liverpool have remained undefeated at home. Before JC bought his season ticket, Liverpool were languishing in 11th place and were 10 points adrift of the Champions League spots.
However, they seemed to have turned their season around since their 2-2 draw with Arsenal and who was in the crowd that day? That’s right, none other than the Christian God himself.
Liverpool are currently two points off fourth spot and with the Almighty in their corner, they’ll be confident that they can maintain their current form… until Easter, at least.
