‘Security concerns’ have been cited in UEFA’s decision.
Liverpool’s players are reportedly annoyed about not being allowed to bring their families onto the pitch if they win the Champions League final on Saturday.
Jurgen Klopp’s men face off against Real Madrid in Paris later tonight (Saturday, May 28), hoping to secure their third trophy of the season after winning the FA Cup and Carabao Cup earlier in the campaign.
When the Reds won the Champions League in 2019, the players were able to celebrate on the pitch with their families and friends. However, it appears that UEFA have ruled out similar scenes at the Stade de France this year.

As reported by Marca, Liverpool’s players are annoyed, upset and angry at the decision taken by European football’s governing body prior to the 2022 final. The report adds that “security concerns” have been cited in UEFA’s decision to stop family members coming onto the pitch.
‘Tensions’ over the size of Liverpool’s allocation
Marca also claimed that there are “tensions” over the size of the Merseyside outfit’s allocation for friends and family of players, which they claim has been limited to allow more fans to attend the showpiece event.
Liverpool boss Klopp has previously spoken out about the allocation offered to supporters of both clubs, with each team being limited to less than a quarter of the stadium’s 81,000 capacity.
“When you see the ticket prices and the amount of tickets you get… is it right?” the German asked.
“Is it right we only get 20,000 [tickets], Real get 20,000 and there’s 75,000 in? That makes 35,000. What?? Where are these tickets [going]?”
Klopp: "Our support has been unbelievable. I cannot be more thankful for our fans. When you see the ticket prices, hotel prices, ticket allocations….. we only get 20,000, they only get 20,000 in a stadium of 75,000. That means 35,000 what? Where are these tickets?"

Liverpool fans produce party atmosphere
Although the Reds were only given an official allocation of 20,000 for the game at the Stade de France, plenty more have made the trip to the French capital to back their side as they go in search of their third trophy of the season.
Those who have made the trip were located in the fan park in the southeast of Paris, on Cours de Vincennes, and were making themselves heard.
