He doesn’t come cheap.
Liverpool have named their price for Philippe Coutinho and it will cost any potential suitor a pretty penny or two.
The Brazilian has attracted interest from Barcelona this summer with the Catalan club reportedly willing to pay up to £80m for the player.
But Jürgen Klopp is keen to keep his talisman at the club as they aim to improve on their fourth place finish last season.
Since joining in 2013 Coutinho has gradually improved to a world class talent and will be key for Liverpool if they are to progress further and they have made a statement of intent in naming their price tag.
According to the Spanish newspaper, Sport, the club has priced their star player well beyond world record price.
According to the newspaper the player is now valued at £133m, a price tag that will hopefully scare off Barcelona.
If a move was to materialise at that price it would make the 25-year-old the most expensive player in world football by some distance with Paul Pogba moving to Manchester United last summer for £89m
