Jurgen Klopp may just be able to let the good times roll.
The German may have suffered some injury worries since his arrival at the club, but fears that Mamadou Sakho had done his ACL earlier this month proved unfounded and now he’s received a fitness boost regarding his key player.
Liverpool enjoyed a 4-1 win over Manchester City on Saturday night, but the victory was marred somewhat by the sight of Coutinho hobbling off towards the end of the game with what appeared to be a left hamstring injury.
Normally any muscle tears or strains would cause a player to be out of action for 2-3 weeks, which could have been a hammer blow to Liverpool’s chances of keeping their positive momentum going under Klopp.
However, it’s been confirmed that Coutinho instead suffered a minor strain and will only miss this Thursday’s Europa League clash with Bordeaux at Anfield, which for many fans will probably not be such a bad thing.
