Liverpool are lining up a move for Burnley striker Danny Ings
Tony Barrett, the Merseyside football correspondent for the London Times, has revealed that the club are looking to sign the Burnley player when his contract expires in the summer.

As Ings is under 23, any club that signs him when his contract expires will have to pay compensation to Burnley and Sean Dyche has said the striker has been distracted by the interest in him.
‘I took him off because I thought it had affected him,’ the Burnley manager said after his side’s defeat on Saturday to Sunderland, where Ings was substituted. ‘Unless someone has got an impossible amount of money, then he will be a Burnley player’.
It had been reported that Liverpool were prepared to pay £4 million to sign the player in this window, but Barrett has revealed any potential deal won’t happen until the summer.

Ings has also been linked with a move to Real Sociedad, with reports that David Moyes’ side had signed a pre-contract agreement with the 22 year old, who has scored seven goals in 19 Premier League appearances this season, but it appears Liverpool are now favourites for his signature.
