Liverpool fans will enjoy Louis van Gaal’s overly-confident comments ahead of Europa league clash

Kevin McGillicuddy

Louis van Gaal is a confident sort of man.

Some may say arrogant, but we think there is nothing wrong in backing your own ability or trusting your players to turn things around.

Unfortunately Louis van Gaaal is struggling to come good on any of his promises to Manchester United fans this season.

So we reckon Liverpool supporters will love to rub it in tomorrow night if the Red Devils fail to beat their age-old rivals in the Europa League.

Liverpool lead 2-0 from the opening leg, 90 minutes at Anfield which saw the visitors manage a single shot on target.

Nonetheless, LVG retains 100% confidence that his side can, and will, score at Old Trafford – especially if Liverpool manage to rattle the back of the net.

Liverpool fans were quick to respond.

Even Manchester United fans aren’t convinced.
