It’s enough to bring a tear to the eye of any Liverpool fan.
It’s only a couple of years since Luis Suarez left Merseyside for Barcelona.
On Saturday afternoon at Wembley, the Uruguayan – still much loved by the Liverpool faithful – faced his old side again.
Before the kick off of the International Champions Cup, Suarez was seen renewing acquaintances with former teammate Philippe Coutinho outside the team’s changing rooms.
After a short embrace and exchange of words between the pair, Jordan Henderson also greets Suarez.

Later on, with the teams taking to the field before the start of the match, Liverpool supporters gave their former number seven a rousing reception as his name was read out over the Wembley PA system.

Suarez spearheaded the attack for Liverpool under to 2013/14, the year Liverpool narrowly missed out on winning the Premier League title under Brendan Rodgers.
Since moving to Barca, Suarez has won a couple of Spanish league titles and Copa del Reys, a Champions League, a Uefa Super Cup and the Fifa Club World Cup. Six winners medals in two seasons. Not bad going, eh?
