Liverpool’s only hope of an away goal in Dortmund rests at the feet of Divock Origi

No Sturridge or Firmino!

Conan Doherty

Jurgen Klopp has opted for Divock Origi over Daniel Sturridge.

The German returns to his old home of Borussia Dortmund for the first leg of the Europa League quarter-final and he has dropped a bombshell with his team selection.

Maybe he just really misses them.

Daniel Sturridge and Firmino drop to the bench for the game as Lallana takes up an advanced role and Origi comes in to start.

Unfortunately for Liverpool fans, Benteke is still injured.

Here’s how the teams are lining up for the first leg in Dortmund.

Decent bench for Liverpool though.

Borussia Dortmund, fresh from their dismantling of Tottenham Hotspur, are pretty damn strong. As usual.

And they even have space for Nuri Sahin and Shinji Kagawa on the bench.
