Triple captain? What the fudge is triple captain?
Well it’s just one of the three new chips that Fantasy Premier League has introduced for the start of the 2015/16 and we predict that they will all divide opinion.
All three features work can be used throughout the season but cannot be used in the same gameweek in which you play your wildcard and they include Triple Captain, All Out Attack and Bench Boost.
Triple Captain means that, instead of scoring double points for the player you select as captain in that gameweek, you receive triple!
In All Out Attack, you’re now able to select a 2-5-3 formation because nobody’s got time for defenders.
And with Bench Boost, substitutes’ points are added to the points of your starting XI which means you have to be a little more selective when choosing your bench players.
Progressive Fantasy Football managers will love the update while the purists will be thinking “why fix what’s not broken?”
Whichever camp you fall into, it’s just one extra worry that we have as we scramble for our phone at 11:25 of a Saturday morning.
