Only 39 players have been rewarded with a five-star skill rating in the upcoming Fifa 18 game. The likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Neymar and Paul Pogba all make the cut, which was to be expected, but there are also quite a few less obvious names included. Now we love Aiden McGeady as much as the next media outlet but we would question the fact that the Sunderland winger has received a higher skill rating in the game than Lionel Messi, the man who many supporters believe is the greatest player of all time. Messi has only managed to earn a four-star skill rating in Fifa 18 but we doubt the defenders who have faced the Barcelona enigma in real life would attest to that rating.
