WATCH: Leicester fans mistake car salesman for Jamie Vardy after title win

You can forgive Leicester City fans for getting a little carried away after their title win,

Tottenham’s draw with Chelsea left Claudio Ranieri’s team seven points clear with two games remaining, and fans and players alike celebrated wildly.

It probably wasn’t the ideal time for anyone to suffer from the combination of (a) being in Leicester and (b) looking a bit like one of the team’s star players.

But that’s what happened to Ian Haughey, a car salesman from Derby, who may now be tempted to pack it all in and start a new career as a Jamie Vardy lookalike.

Haughey’s friend Stu Egan sent us this video of the pair driving a stone’s throw from the King Power Stadium, where they were mobbed by excitable Foxes fans singing “Jamie Vardy’s having a party”.

Now all he needs to do is find some mates who are the spitting image of Riyad Mahrez and Claudio Ranieri, and they could really go somewhere with this.
