Tributes to the late chairman will continue this afternoon
Leicester City will immortalise their late chairman, Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha by erecting a statue outside the King Power Stadium in his memory.

Khun Vichai’s son and City’s Vice Chairman Aiyawatt Srivaddhanaprabha has confirmed the news in a personal tribute to his father in a souvenir programme for Saturday’s Premier League visit of Burnley.
“We will never be able to repay what he did for us – for me as his son, us as his family, everyone connected to Leicester City and beyond – but we are committed to honouring his memory and upholding his legacy,” Aiyawatt said.
Complimentary copies of the programme will be given to every fan who attends the game, which will be the Foxes’ first home game since the news of Srivaddhanaprabha’s death.
The day after the helicopter crash, thousands of local Leicester fans went to the King Power to lay flowers and pay their respects to the chairman who did so much for not only the club but the local community.
Hundreds more then volunteered to help move the floral displays, t-shirts and scarves away from the stadium to a more permanent site.
Fans have been advised to arrive at the King Power early this afternoon, with tributes planned to honour Khun Vichai.
A two minute silence will also be observed to honour both the sacrifices of servicemen and women in conflicts past and present and the five victims of the tragedy at King Power Stadium on 27 October.
