Lazio are the latest club to show their support for the “Je suis Charlie” campaign
In a show of solidarity with Paris, the Serie A outfit donned the special jerseys with the “Je suis Charlie” slogan branded on the front during the Derby della Capitale in Rome. The slogan was developed on Twitter to pay respects to the victims of the massacre, in which 12 people were murdered.
This comes just a day after Roma manager Rudi Garcia paid a fitting tribute to the victims of the Charlie Hebdo attacks. The French manager left a pencil on every chair at the pre-game conference as a symbol of freedom of expression.
