It’s not the first time the sports presenter has had to deal with mindless antagonisers.
Laura Woods showed no signs of holding back after she was targetted by a misogynistic internet troll this week.
The sports presenter has been back in Blighty covering the Carabao Cup after being part of the ITV team that travelled to Qatar to help present the World Cup.
Taking to Twitter, Woods described the tournament as the “best experience” of her career, saying it is the “pinnacle” for any sports broadcaster.
Back in London 🥰 Just a note to say that for a broadcaster, being able to work on a World Cup really is the pinnacle. And it’s been the best experience of my career. Thanks for having me @itvfootball ❤️ and if you did, thanks for watching and sending such wonderful support ❤️ pic.twitter.com/T3fxcPM25u

She has been widely praised for her work in Qatar, with viewers warming to her shrewd analysis and professionalism.
Unfortunately, that has been lost on some people, with the same old trolls taking to social media to put her down.
Thankfully, Woods is not prepared to let them go without a rebuttal and that is exactly what happened to Instagram user @mick.oconnor.92775838 when he replied to an Instagram post saying: “Get back to the kitchen.”
Woods hit back: “Ohhh Mick. Nothing screams “I have a small penis” more than this old phrase. X.”
And it was met with plenty of support, with one reply reading: “You’re my hero!! This is amazing lol.”

It’s not the first time Woods has had to palm off social media loudmouths.
Earlier this year she gave a sassy response when a troll asked if she had slept with a footballer.
“Is it true about you s*****g akinfenwa ???” they asked crudely.
But rather than fire back a furious response, Laura savagely quipped: “I waited, but he was too busy with your mother.”
