Reports have claimed that Mbappé wants to leave PSG

Kylian Mbappe’s mother, Fayza Lamari, has showed her support for her son by retweeting a post that claims the Frenchman is the victim of a smear campaign.

LÉquipe were the latest to report on issues behind the scenes at Paris Saint-Germain which allegedly involve Mbappé, claiming that he is at the centre of a dressing room split.

Mbappé also reportedly wants to leave the French giants just five months after signing a new contract following a sensational transfer saga which almost saw him join Real Madrid.

As part of his new contract, Mbappé has a say in the way the club is operated both on and off the pitch but has been left ‘betrayed’ by the way he has been treated at the Parc des Princes Stadium.

In response to the rumours surrounding the forward, Lamari retweeted a post claiming that her son had been the victim of a ‘smear campaign’ which has left him with no other option but to leave PSG.

It said: “The usefulness of the information has left to denigrate Kylian? Proof that they are all leading a smear campaign that pushes Kylian’s disgust to push him to leave…”

A further report from Media Part claimed on Wednesday that PSG had hired an external agency to create an “army” of fake Twitter accounts to tarnish the reputation of some of the club’s players – including Mbappé.

According to a lawyer who spoke to RMC Sport, if proven true, it could provide enough ground for Mbappé to terminate his contract.
