Ten Hag is already making plans to revamp Man United
Erik ten Hag is reportedly already making plans for life at Manchester United as the Dutchman continues to be the favourite for the role.
The Ajax boss has undertaken a series of interviews and looks poised to swap the Netherlands for Old Trafford in the summer as United begin yet another period of rebuilding.
Ten Hag has established himself as one of the brightest coaches in Europe and his expected arrival in the Premier League has caused excitement amongst United fans with the club set to embark on another quest to try and return to the glory days.
However, as reported by Fabrizio Romano, the 50-year-old has identified some key areas he wants to take full control of in order to ensure that his vision can work to full effect at the Red Devils.

Control on transfers
The most important of those is said to be 100 per cent involvement on transfers. This includes both in and out of the club.
United are expecting a mass exodus in the summer, with the likes of Paul Pogba, Juan Mata, Edinson Cavani and a host of others linked with departures. Critics and fans alike have called for an overhaul of the team.
Any prospective signings would have to get approval from Ten Hag and match his philosophy.
Other reports have suggested that the current Ajax boss will be given the proverbial war chest and will target the likes of Harry Kane and Declan Rice as part of their recruitment.
Contract negotiations
Contracts are likely to be a major issue at United. A number of first-team players – the most high profile being Paul Pogba – are out of contract at the end of the season.
Ten Hag will have a huge job on deciding which players are worthy of having their deals extended and if they are up to the task of helping United return to something resembling a functioning football team.
Despite the Dutchman’s willingness to take charge of the rebuild, he won’t be on his own. Current interim boss, Ralf Rangnick, is also likely to have influence from the consultancy role that he will move into come the end of the season.
Although an official announcement has yet to have been made on the permanent United manager, official confirmation is expected in the coming weeks.
