Keep an eye out for this fantastic Father Ted-inspired Shane Long flag tonight

The tricolours will be waving proudly at the Aviva Stadium this evening.

Irish fans are preparing for a multitude of trips, by air, land and sea, this summer. Euro 2016 is dangerously close and the Irish are coming.

We have already marvelled at Jon Walters and 1916 Easter Rising-related flags and have heard tell of a superb Irish goalkeepers flag in production for unfurling at the tournament.

Ahead of tonight’s game with Switzerland, however, Irish supporter Niall McGinty has shared this great snap of his newly acquired flag:
