We normally take our social media posts by millionaire footballers with a dose of salt from the Saxa factory, there’s something just a little bit more intriguing about Karim Benzema’s most recent Instagram post.
The forward has decided to share a snap of himself on a plane with the message “Leave the past in the past.”
Now the Real Madrid striker could just be an incredibly deep individual, and he may just be talking about the feud between Nicki Minaj and Taylor Swift, but desperate Arsenal fans, and others, feel that the striker could be signalling his intention to leave Spain.

Manchester United have been linked with signing a world-famous footballer so could the Frenchman fit the bill.
Maybe, but if his last follow on Instagram is anything to go by, then it looks like he is London-bound in that fancy plane.
‘Turfu’ is the name of a 2013 song from French rapper Booba, so Benzema may be off to a gig.
