Ah football.
Innit?
Real Madrid and Juventus will contest the final of the Champions League thanks to Karim Benzema’s skill, his ingenuity, and his balls.
And thanks to three Ronaldo goals last week too.

It took some nerve for the Frenchman to conjure up what he did at the home of Real’s great city rivals and, after Saul and Griezmann had Atletico ahead with two goals to spare after just 15 minutes, even the most trenchant of analytical students of the game would’ve concluded simply that Zidane’s men were, in fact, shitting themselves.
Then Benzema took control of a Ronaldo throw-in that sent him to the corner and with two wonderful right-to-left combos along the byline, he left three defenders for dead as he set up the away goal that virtually made the second half redundant.
Well, he set up the shot that led to Isco’s rebound.
If Messi did what Benzema just did, "Cules" would be talking about it for the next 50 years. https://t.co/P8dYKhFqrw

Yes, this was Karim Benzema’s very own Jeff Hendrick moment.
And they thought he could never match up. Well, he still didn’t match up to Hendrick’s wizardry against Georgia for Ireland but he got close.
It was up there with Mark bloody Bradley.
Maybe Karim Benzema didn’t go too far away when he had us believing he did for a while. Good to see you back, big Ben.
