Another day, another piece of speculation about Paul Pogba.
Pogba is never out of the headlines and the latest rumours linking the midfielder with a move away from Manchester United have provided details of the potential deal.
Italian outlet Tuttosport report that Pogba’s former club Juventus are set to make a loan offer for the Frenchman in January with an obligation to buy after the six month spell is up.
The report claims that the eventual fee for the 25-year-old would be in excess of €70 million, with the Old Lady hopeful of raising the necessary funds by selling in-demand full-back Alex Sandro.
The fact that Uefa decided to get rid of the rule regarding cup-tied players in the Champions League means that Pogba would be eligible to represent Juventus in the knockout phase of Europe’s top competition despite playing for United in the group stage.
Pogba returned to Old Trafford for a then-record fee of €105 million in 2016 after spending four seasons with Juve in Serie A but has come in for plenty of criticism from pundits for his lack of consistency for Jose Mourinho.
