Jurgen Klopp rustled by a bunch of kids for the second time this season

Wayne Farry

The title race can stress you out.

Liverpool are towards the tale end of a season-long title race with Manchester City, and each member of staff can be forgiven if the stress of it all is getting to them a little bit.

Manchester City continue to win every single game they play in, and as such, there is a pressure on Jurgen Klopp and his side to do the same. This can take its toll.

It appeared to do just that during Liverpool’s match away to Southampton on Friday evening, when the German manager was standing on the sideline in front of the Reds bench.

A group of children were standing to the right of the bench, and judging by Klopp’s reaction they appear to have said something to him.

We obviously don’t know what that was, but it was enough to prompt the German coach to turn around, walk over to the group and say something with his arms outstretched.

In the end it didn’t really matter, with Liverpool winning the game 3-1 through goals from Naby Keita, Mohamed Salah and Jordan Henderson.

It’s the second time this season that Klopp has come face to face with some kids who appeared to be taking the piss out of him, after he approached some Everton mascots sarcastically applauding him after Liverpool’s Merseyside derby draw against Everton.
