We had some good times didn’t we?
But when a relationship comes to an end, it’s usually fairly normal that you have seen the signs long before.
You begin to make less and less of an effort to impress, you’re not really bothered getting to important occasions, and in the end it probably comes down to one massive row when you get to say to the other person how you really feel.
And that stage may have come in the relationship of Daniel Sturridge and Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp, according to reports this morning.
The former Chelsea man has missed most of yet another Premier League campaign through injury, and according to reports in the Mirror this morning, Klopp has decided enough is enough with the striker.
While much of the current focus is on Christian Benteke, Klopp has reportedly already called time on Sturridge’s time at Anfield.
The 26-year-old has started just three games in the league this term and according to the newspaper, the club will take a minimum of £25million for the former Manchester City man.
Sturridge has had a variety of issues with his fitness this term, with Klopp growing weary of the player’s constant breakdowns and weak mental attitude to playing unless he is 100% fit.
