Jurgen Klopp appears to be doing a Martin Odegaard around England

A nice trip through the English club landscape

Kevin McGillicuddy

Jurgen Klopp looks like a man you could enjoy a pint with.

But perhaps all this talk of Oktoberfest has gotten to him and he can’t stand the sight of all those Bayern Munich players living it up in tents with tankards of beer.

That’s perhaps why it’s being reported today that the former Borussia Dortmund coach is on his way to England to do a mini-tour of various clubs in the Premier League.

It might just be a coincidence that the German is in England as the pressure ramps up on Brendan Rodgers and Arsene Wenger. Or it might not.

But according to reports in Bild the unemployed football madman/genuis is looking to take in some training sessions in the Premier League.

We figure that he is unlikely to be welcomed by Brendan Rodgers at Anfield while we doubt he’d have much interest in catching up with Tony Pulis at West Brom either.

the trip sounds a bit like what Martin Odegaards did when he was looking to sign for a club last season and visited at pretty much every Premier League club in the country before eventually joining Real Madrid.
