Zidane walked away after the Champions League final
Real Madrid have announced that Julen Lopetegui will take over as Real Madrid manager after the World Cup.
Zinedine Zidane walked away from his post at Madrid after the Champions League final, having won the competition three times in a row.
Lopetegui has been Spain manager since he took over from Vicente Del Bosque after the 2014 World Cup, and will leave his post with the national team for the Madrid job after this summer’s tournament.

He previously managed Porto and the Spanish underage teams. The 51-year-old was a goalkeeper in his playing days, and played for both Madrid and Barcelona during his career.
