Stay tuned as Jose will be back shortly.
Jose Mourinho is not a man who stays down for too long, or stays quiet either, and representatives for the Portuguese have issued a statement this morning for the first time since his departure from Chelsea on Thursday.
The statement hits out at his former club for his sacking, and claims that instead of taking a break and not looking to get back into football straight away, the opposite is very much the case.
Statement from Mourinho management: "He will not be taking a sabbatical, he isn’t tired, he doesn’t need it, he is already looking forward."

Mourinho thanks Chelsea fans but no mention for board/staff/players. He won #CFC "another" PL title "which they had not won for many years"

The statement is likely to fuel speculation that Mourinho could be a replacement for Louis van Gaal at Manchester United if the Dutchman loses his job at Old Trafford.
The statement in full was released by CAA Sports Management and also states that Mourinho was proud of his success during his second spell at the club
“José Mourinho is pleased that he returned to Chelsea Football Club because he was able to give the fans another Premier League title, which they had not won for many years. He is immensely proud of his eight trophies at Chelsea, and thanks the fans for all their support throughout his two spells at the club.
The former Real Madrid manager has also asked for privacy
“Jose will remain living in London and hopes he and his family will be given the opportunity to do this privately.”
“Jose will not speak about his current situation for the foreseeable future. He asks the media to respect this decision.”
