Former José Mourinho player encouraged to join Manchester United by his agent

Would it work out this time between the pair though?

Everton and Manchester United will be sick of each other by the end of the transfer window.

With Wayne Rooney set to re-join his former childhood club in the blue part of Merseyside, Manchester United manager José Mourinho has decided to make hay while the sun shines and force through a last-minute transfer for Everton striker, Romelu Lukaku.

However, Lukaku is not going to go for a low price and the Daily Mail believe that if Mourinho’s men want to hijack his move to Chelsea, they will need to match or beat the £100m price tag that’s hanging over his head.

Lukaku, who hit the back of the net 26 times last year for Everton, was expected to go back to Stamford Bridge, a club he left in 2014 while under the guidance of Mourinho.

However, the Manchester Evening News, believe that the same man who was the main negotiator in bringing Paul Pogba back to Manchester United holds the key to a Lukaku transfer.

Mino Raiola, an agent to both Paul Pogba and Romelu Lukaku, advised the former to rejoin Manchester United last season instead of a move to Real Madrid.

Similar to Chelsea with Lukaku, Real looked set to snatch Pogba but after going to battle with United, they were reluctant to match the £89m fee.

Raiola has advised Lukaku to join United ahead of his former club and if the price is right from United, they could land the striker they so badly need.

Raiola might not be the only person to persuade Lukaku; the striker is also on holiday with Pogba.
