Jose Mourinho is wasting no time lining up his next job, if reports are to be believed.
The former Chelsea manager left Stamford Bridge less than 48 hours ago, but seemingly has his sights set on the Manchester United job…sooner rather than later.
Representatives of the manager have already begun assessing their options over a move to Old Trafford, according to ESPN FC.
Mourinho was linked with the club when Sir Alex Ferguson retired in 2013, only to miss out to David Moyes.
And his desire to take over at United is not thought to have diminished.
Louis van Gaal is under pressure after the club’s Champions League group stage exit, but it is unclear at this stage how soon the higher-ups in Manchester would consider replacing the Dutchman.
