The bust-up was reportedly heard by staff at St James’ Park.
Jose Mourinho was reportedly involved in a huge argument with Paul Pogba and Phil Jones after Manchester United lost to Newcastle last week.
Sources at Newcastle have reportedly revealed that the Portuguese manager launched an attack on the pair following their 1-0 loss. Singling them out as responsible for the defeat.
In the aftermath of the incident, Pogba missed the game with Huddersfield due to ‘illness’ – despite Mourinho saying he would play the day before the match – and Jones also missed the game after he said he was unfit during the week.
A Newcastle insider told The Sun:
“Mourinho was furious — everybody could hear him shouting at Pogba and Jones.
“He obviously thinks they should do better but the pressure is getting to them.”
The news comes after Mourinho was asked by a BT Sports reporter yesterday how long the illness would rule Pogba out for, to which he responded that he didn’t know and didn’t care:
Jose Mourinho speaking to @DesKellyBTS on the severity of Paul Pogba's injury…
"I don't know, and honestly I don't care."

On Friday, ahead of that FA Cup game, Mourinho had labelled reports of Pogba having regrets over his United return as “lies” and claimed he had a good working relationship with his midfielder.
Take that as you will.
